Rossella, an actress form the ‘70s avant-garde theatre, returns to Rome after years of being away and finds that nothing looks the same. Lost, she tries to reacquaint herself with her friends from the local Roman hangouts she used to go to in search of a past that will give her back her identity. Accompanying her on her wanderings around the faceless city are Salvatore, a lazy and disillusioned Neapolitan set designer, his assistant, Monica, and a cumbersome globe.
